Today’s Friday Guy is Movie Date Ken. It’s been 25 years since he was released. I don’t have many Ken dolls but this one I had to have. I really like his curly hair. He has the standard body for that time with the twist waist. Most Ken dolls had the bent arms although beach dolls usually had straight arms.
I named him Ian after Ian Moss, guitarist with iconic Aussie band Cold Chisel, mainly because of the curly hair.
I was going to share a picture of Sport & Shave Ken today but it was one that I had deleted from Flickr. I will have to find him and take new ones. I think he is on my vintage shelf.
